All of these rules just keep getting better and better. It would be hard to pick a fav this time. But, I guess I like the random acts of kindness the best. I am always telling my own kids to be a "giver".

Happy day,

Rule #11-Perform Random Acts of Kindness

This is a difficult rule for me and one that I need to continue to work on. It is so easy to get caught up in doing things for school and your family, that you forget about those around you. Ron explains some really big ideas; however, I don't believe we need to go to Washington, D.C. in order to perform an act of kindness. In our busy lives, I believe letting others know that we are praying for them through a note, words of encouragement, or a listening ear means a lot.

We have tried to set up secret pals in the past, but this has not been successful. Is anyone interested in creating possibly a way to encourage acts of kindness in our staff? Think about how it makes you feel when you know that someone is praying for you or helping you out. I believe this will help in creating a more uplifting attitude in our staff.

Just remember how you feel when you walk in the lounge and see that Moms In Touch has placed food or hand pampering supplies for us. This truly lifts my spirits. How about yours?
